Donate

One of the Powered by Me rules is to raise money for a different charity each month. I’m not using any form of public or private transport that isn’t powered by myself physically for an entire year – which is the perfect opportunity to fundraise for charities that I am passionate about. Donate now to Crisis, the twelfth and final Powered by MePowered by Me charity for month 12 – December 2017.

How does it work?

Each month I’ll be fundraising for a different charitable cause. During the month I’ll be updating my followers about how much I’ve raised and towards the end of the month, start talking about the charity I’ll be fundraising for the next month.

Why give?

If you’re inspired by my year-long physical and mental adventure, please give anything you can. When I’ve seen the donations come in they really do spur me on, put a smile on my face and remind me why on earth I’m doing this! And if that isn’t enough, giving makes you feel good, it gives you that warm fuzzy feeling and helps a lot of people out who are in need of support.

How do you donate?

All my fundraising will be on JustGiving – check out my fundraising page here. For December 2017, I’m raising funds for Crisis who are offer homeless people a start towards a better life and during Christmas and New Year offer shelter, food and drink to thousands of homeless people at a difficult time of year.
